BGM Brass Cable Trunnion Set

Brass cable trunnion set,  2  short for the outer gear cable and clutch cable and 1 long for the inner gear cable and tie bar.

BGM screw/clamp trunnions are manufactured in excellent quality by a supplier for the Japanese motorcycle industry. The dimensions correspond exactly to the old original Piaggio / Innocenti. Therefore a perfect fit is guaranteed.

The clamping screws for the cables have a small plate on the inside like in the original. These protect the inner cable and helps to ensure a long life and reliability.

For several years and lots of miles on various scooters I've used the stainless trunnions from a reputable source, however I often found the cables would require adjustment or never seemed to get as solid a gear change once i'd ridden a few miles, not excessive however i often wondered if the change to stainless (it being a hard material), was part of the problem. Having tried brass ones once again I'm convinced they work better, the original size Allen key is bigger which also helps (though you need to ensure you have one a spare!). I've swapped all on my 3 scoots and all are better now - One of the few parts I'm happy to recommend (though other brands are not as good as the BGM ones - Beware!)
