The new Casa Performance BadaSS exhaust for the Casa SS kits: for a power-band as fat as your mother-in-law.

The BSSO championship-winning Casa SS200 and SS225 kits were always powerful, high up the rev range. Thrilling to ride, but revvy.

The freshly-developed BadaSS expansion chamber increases the practicality of the SS kits for road use, by broadening the power spread and increasing torque at lower engine revs.

Manufactured in-house at Rimini Lambretta Centre using the artisan method of gas welding and hammering all the welds to stress-relieve the metal. These are high-end hand-built pipes, developed using the latest software and extensive dyno testing.

In depth:



The BadaSS exhaust is designed for the Casa SS200, SS225 and SS250 kits, but also fits other oval-exhaust port kits such as TS1, Monza and Imola.

It was specifically intended as an exhaust that swaps some of the screaming revs of the SS kit for an earlier, wider punch. Peak power is almost the same as the Protti for the SS kits, but at much lower revs. This translates to an engine that makes much more torque, much earlier in the rev range.

On the road, the Badass punches out of corners and up hills where you’d still be waiting to get into the power with a Protti. It makes SS kitted engines much easier to ride fast.

The BadaSS was designed and built entirely in Rimini Lambretta Centre using the latest software for routing complex cone sets around difficult spaces; like under standard Lambretta bodywork. The BadaSS follows a route from the short downpipe and slip-joint, high up under the running board. Ground clearance has been maximised, making the Badass far more capable for riding 2-up and on bad road surfaces than earlier exhausts for the SS.
