BGM PRO electronic flywheel for Lambretta GP and DL

bgm PRO fan wheel completely developed and manufactured in Germany. This is a one-piece fan wheel without rivets and screws. 21st century technology with an almost original look and design. The fan wheel has been successfully tested up to 24,000 rpm and gives the highest alternator output with the bgm V3 ignition base plate.

This flywheel is a completely new design that has been built around the existing bgm ignition components. The objectives were to maximum reliability and strong alternator performance. To ensure maximum reliability, the cone is neither bolted nor riveted, but cast in place. Each cone is checked and reworked after casting to ensure an optimum fit to the crankshaft

. Although bgm specify the weight of the fan wheel, this is of secondary importance in terms of engine running. The decisive value here is the moment of inertia achieved. In other words, how and where the weight is distributed around the circumference

. The balance factor is the next interesting factor. Here we achieve a value that is also used in real motorsport. Each fan wheel is individually set to at least this value. This is the best value ever achieved for a Lambretta fan wheel.

The fan wheel has passed the burst test up to 24,000 rpm without any damage. Of course, the bgm PRO pole wheel can also be used with all components based on the original Ducati design with 6 coils. (Such as Indian, AF, AFR, Vespa components.) However, should problems arise here, the height of the pickup may have to be adjusted depending on the combination of components.
