bgm PRO ignition stator plate for Lambretta – with new PICKUP ORANGE

The bgm PRO ignition base plates for Lambretta were among the first bgm products. The first prototypes were presented at Eurolambretta 2007 in Neckarsulm. The base plate is based on the electronic ignition system introduced in 1970 with the Lambretta dl 200 electronic.

Maximum compatibility & light output thanks to newly developed pickup

The PICKUP ORANGE base plate is the current version and, in addition to all the proven features, comes with a completely newly designed pickup. Our new pickup eliminates all the issues that previously arose from combining components from various manufacturers. The offset of the pickup in relation to the trigger surface in the flywheel could lead to pickup failure. The new pickup is immune to this and works reliably despite the offset – just like you'd expect from a full bgm ignition setup on an engine with original parts.

The proven features remain and have even been improved in many small details:

• High light output (120W) due to maximum coil windings
• Proven exciter coil with copper plate for maximum reliability, pickup with carbon barrier layer for clean ignition impulse
• Neatly finished lighting coils
• High-quality solder joints
• Grey and black sleeving
• Sufficient cable length for custom wiring
• Optional spacers for adjusting pickup height***
• Base plate with precise degree scale for quick ignition timing
• Extremely flexible and heat-resistant cables without fabric sheathing

With the new pickup, the bgm PRO base plate provides an even more stable spark and, thanks to optimized winding count and wiring, maximum light output.
